Let me just talk to you honestly. I’m a successful coach-entrepreneur earning a great income, but it wasn’t always that way. Twenty-one years ago I started my first business and I made every mistake in the book. (Ouch–it hurts to even think about it)! What I didn’t know or hadn’t learned caused me stress, struggle, time and money and even fear and loss of confidence.

I had plenty of nights where I wondered how or if it was all worth it and how long it would take to really make a go of it–and not just with my first business! Lots of trial and error, soul searching and habit changing had to occur before I turned a corner. When I made a total commitment to doing whatever it took to pursuing my passion to help other small business owners succeed, nothing could stop me.

My first business was a corporate training business in New York City. After that I owned a 3 Star NY Times rated restaurant, then moved to North Carolina (better weather and cost of living!) where I bought and owned a small publishing company that I franchised and sold. Finally in 2001, I started my current small business growth and marketing coaching business. It wasn’t a good time to start a business and if I had known even then what I know now, that time of economic uncertainty during the 2001 recession wouldn’t have been so tough. Even with all my experience I still had more to learn.

For me personally, being an entrepreneur has been the only possible choice. I can’t imagine working for someone else. When I lost my husband to cancer several years ago and was left to raise my then 11 year old daughter on my own, at first it seemed daunting. Braces, college, mortgage, home maintenance, health insurance–you understand. But I put faith in the fact that I was a veteran entrepreneur doing what I was passionate about, and I was perfectly capable of providing the life I wanted for myself and my daughter. I had a true breakthrough as that realization sank in on a really deep level. It was time to THINK BIGGER! I already had a thriving business , but using the business model and systems I gradually developed and want to teach you, I have DOUBLED MY SALES IN EACH OF THE LAST 2 YEARS! I no longer worry about being able to live the life I want. Isn’t that great?

Believe me, there were times that I was frustrated and overwhelmed, trying to do too much myself and trying to do it all perfectly. Fast forward to today– I own a thriving business with clients I absolutely love and who are my absolute priority. I earn a great income, work reasonable hours, and I’ve been able to create a lifestyle that suits me perfectly!

I am grateful every day for my incredible clients and for the privilege of being able to serve them, for the time and financial means to enjoy my lovely home, my passion for great food and theater, and our frequent trips to New York City and Italy to enjoy the ambiance and culture and spend time friends and family.
